Spirit of the Marathon is a movie/documentary that follows 6 marathoners to the Chicago Marathon. A couple of the marathoners are first timers and a couple are pretty well known, like Deena Kastor. It is showing across the country on January 24.
Our walking club, the Buckeye Striders, is planning a group outing to see it together. I found out just today that the theatre we had planned to see it at here in Columbus, OH, is already sold out! Luckily, it is showing at more than one theatre and the others still have seats. I bought my ticket online today.
So, if you or your walking group are planning to see this movie, I'd recommend buying tickets ASAP.
